Joseph Daye, AKA "Bibi", age 79, Sunrise Florida, went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2010 at home surrounded by family and friends.

He was born on December 25, 1930 in St. Mary, Jamaica, the son of late Estella Brissett. He was the brother of two sisters, Violet Scott and Valerie Clarke of Toronto Canada. On June 26, 1969, he married Lorna Daye, who survives.

He was employed by Western Terminal in Jamaica as a Fork Lift Operator for 30 years, where he supported his wife and seven children whole heartedly.

Mr. Daye was a member of the Newlife Fellowship Center Church of God who was much known for his dancing styles and giving praise unto God.

He is survived by his two daughters, Veronica and Diana; five sons, David, Carlton, Michael, Joseph, Jr. and Nicholas; five daughters-in-law, Irine, Marcia, Summerset, Gina and Melony who is now with child; two sons-in-law, Kenneth and Curtis; six granddaughters, Sarah, Kennedy, Shanique, Alesha, Jasmia and Danielle; five grandsons Michael, Jr., Jamar, Curtis, Jr., Joel and Joshua.

A service will be held at Newlife Fellowship Center Church of God hosted by Pastor Ruddock, on Saturday, May 15, 2010. The viewing will be at 10:00 am followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Address 3280 N. State Road 7, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33319, Tel: 954-735-1360.
